Hasset: 24 more trade deals are close to being resolved

White House economic advisor Kevin Hassett signaled that additional trade agreements, modeled after the recent deal with the UK, are likely on the way. Speaking on CNBC, Hassett revealed that 24 trade negotiations are nearing completion.

He voiced confidence ahead of the upcoming talks in Geneva, calling developments so far encouraging from the U.S. side. Hassett said he expects more trade pacts similar to the UK agreement to emerge in the coming weeks.

President Trump, echoing that sentiment on social media, said numerous trade deals are underway, describing them as “all good, some even great.” Together, Hassett’s remarks and the President’s statement suggest the administration is bullish on the outlook for U.S. trade.
