America is becoming less “woke”," per the Economist, with analysis finding that woke opinions and practices are on the decline

Ford Motor Company is scaling back some of its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, becoming the latest U.S. corporation to slow down on "woke" policies, joining companies like John Deere, Lowe's, and Tractor Supply.

Anti-woke activist and filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who has been leading a campaign against corporate "woke" policies, revealed on Wednesday that Ford had provided him documentation while he was investigating the company, indicating they had made changes.

Starbuck shared a letter from Ford CEO Jim Farley to employees, where Farley stated that "the external and legal environment related to political and social issues continues to evolve," leading the company to reassess its policies and practices over the past year.

In the letter, Farley emphasized that Ford does not use quotas in hiring and that it focuses its resources on business objectives "rather than publicly commenting on the many polarizing issues of the day." He also noted that the company's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) had "evolved" and are now open to all employees.

Farley further informed employees that earlier in the year, Ford decided to no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, an annual survey that evaluates "policies, practices, and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) employees."

Ford confirmed the authenticity of the letter to FOX Business and said in a statement, "The communication to our global employees speaks for itself. We have nothing further to add."
