Canada bans TikTok from all federal government devices.

It stated that TikTok presents an "unacceptable" level of risk to privacy and security.

In December, the US Senate voted to ban TikTok from all government devices.

Reportedly, Reuters states that a proposal will be included to do the same in a key spending bill, which won backing by Nancy Pelosi and Kevin McCarthy last week.

This week, Louisiana and West Virgina banned TikTok on governmental devices.

That leaves some 19 of the 50 US states have now at least partially blocked access on government computers to TikTok.
