Elon Musk has predicted: "Civil war is inevitable."

U.S. billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has suggested that the growing unrest in the United Kingdom might escalate into a civil war.

Protests erupted across multiple cities in the UK on Saturday in response to a stabbing attack in Southport, England, which resulted in the deaths of three children. The Times reported that at least 35 protests were anticipated over the weekend.

Musk commented on X about the situation, saying, "Civil war is inevitable," in response to a video of the protests.

On July 29, a knife attack at a children’s dance club in Southport left three young girls dead and several others seriously injured. The incident triggered widespread protests and clashes with police, fueled by unverified reports that the attacker was a refugee.

In London, more than 100 demonstrators were arrested for violent disorder, assault, and violations of protest conditions, with some sustaining minor injuries. UK law enforcement has accused the far-right English Defence League (EDL) of inciting the protests, while some media outlets have alleged Russian involvement in the riots. The Russian embassy in London has strongly denied these accusations.
