The average Instagram sponsorship post prices have increased by around $1,500 in the span of a year. In 2021, creators would get an average of $3,652 for sponsorship posts, but in 2022, that number increased to $5,077.
Instagram sponsorship prices increased by a whopping 39% from 2021 to 2022. The information came from a survey by Hashtag Pay Me, which compared sponsorship post prices on Instagram to TikTok.
The survey found that when it comes to being an influencer, being skilled with low reach was better than having low skills and a high reach.
Here are the breakdowns of their pricing.
- Hich skill and high reach - an average of $11,250
- High skill and low reach - an average of $213
- Low skill and high reach - an average of $200
- Low skill and low reach - an average of $57
It was found that influencers across the two platforms saw that there was a 200% increase in Instagram rate charges compared to how much they could ask for TikTok brand sponsorships.
Cross-charging has also resulted in a lucrative solution for influencers, as an Instagram creator can charge a 236% average increase to post content on a TikTok channel. TikTok creators can only charge a 40% average increase to cross-post content on Instagram.
Meta reportedly follows Twitter and is already testing paid verifications for Instagram and Facebook. The company plans to charge users $11.99 per month on the web and $14.99 per month for mobile app versions.
In November of last year, Meta announced its own AI, which was reportedly capable of human-level performance in a game that involved negotiating. Meta's AI was reportedly called CICERO, and it was able to compete significantly in a game called Diplomacy.
CICERO achieved first place in a game that involved 21 participants, passing humans in 40 games versus 82 unique players.
