Moderna, $MRNA, says its COVID vaccine will remain free for all consumers, even those uninsured.
Previously, Moderna considered price of $110-$130 for covid-19 vaccine, per WSJ.
Initially, the original vaccines cost $15 to $16 per dose in earlier supply contracts.
Moderna had previously estimated the commercial price expectations in a range of $64 to $100 a shot.
In October last year, rival Pfizer Inc PFE, said it planned to hike its COVID vaccine's price to about the same range - $110 to $130 per dose.
For full-year 2022, MRNA recorded about $18.4 billion in Covid-19 vaccine sales.
