Bloomberg economists Anna Wong and Eliza Winger say the chances of a recession happening within 12 months is up 100% compared to its previous update of 65%.
Another survey found that 42 economists predict a 60% chance, up from 50% last month, of a recession happening in the next 12 months.
- The chances of a recession happening in 11 months have grown from 30% to 73%.
- The chances of a recession happening in 10 months have grown from 0% to 30%.
