Elon Musk has said: You can tell immediately that someone is a massive liar if they’re claiming I’m on drugs

Elon Musk is pushing back against circulating rumors that he’s using drugs, responding directly after the topic came up during a public Q&A with Donald Trump.

At the event, Trump was asked whether he believed Musk had ever used drugs while at the White House. “I really don’t know. I don’t think so, I hope not,” Trump replied.

After seeing the exchange posted on X, Musk addressed the speculation himself.

“You can tell immediately that someone is a massive liar if they’re claiming I’m on drugs, as I am one of the most photographed people on Earth and am in meetings with a wide array of people 7 days a week!” he wrote.

He also noted, “Moreover, I was randomly drug tested for ~3 years after one semi-puff on @JoeRogan. Not the slightest trace of drugs or alcohol was found.”

Musk has previously acknowledged that he uses prescribed ketamine to manage depressive episodes.
