Elon Musk’s X launching new one-stop shop NFL portal

NFL fans now have access to a centralized hub for league content on X, thanks to a new partnership between the social media platform and the NFL. X, owned by Elon Musk, has introduced a portal designed to serve as a one-stop shop for everything NFL-related, a representative for X confirmed to The Post.

This portal aggregates tweets from official NFL team accounts, rights partners like “SNF on NBC,” and reporters from outlets such as NFL Media and ESPN. It also features separate tabs for scores, standings, and stats.

“I believe in partnering with the biggest and best. And it doesn’t get any bigger and better than the NFL,” said X CEO Linda Yaccarino in a statement. “Today, football fans around the world will see the power of X and NFL right on their screens. X is the world’s largest stadium, and we are delivering the ultimate fan experience.”

Internal data from X reveals that 56% of its users are NFL fans. Posts about the NFL account for 40% of all sports-related content on the platform, with approximately 16 billion video views tied to NFL content over the past year. The Super Bowl remains the most-discussed event on X, generating 19.2 million posts and 1.1 billion video views last year.

Ian Trombetta, the NFL’s senior vice president of social and influencer marketing, emphasized the importance of fan engagement:
“We’re constantly looking to increase the number of ways fans can engage with the NFL across all forms of media. The newly-launched NFL Portal on X will provide an enhanced way to enjoy the gameday experience, allowing fans to keep up with all the action from across the league.”

With this new feature, X aims to solidify its role as a go-to platform for NFL fans, combining social media interactivity with comprehensive coverage of the sport.
