It seems there is a minute missing from the Jeffery Epstein footage, released by the DOJ

President Trump's Justice Department and FBI have concluded that there is no evidence convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed influential individuals, maintained a “client list,” or was murdered, according to a memo detailing the findings obtained by Axios.

The administration is releasing two versions of a video — both raw and enhanced — which it claims shows that no one entered the area of Epstein’s Manhattan jail cell the night he died in 2019. The video, the memo states, supports the medical examiner’s conclusion that Epstein died by suicide.

This is the first time the Trump administration has officially pushed back on widespread conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death and activities — narratives that had once been questioned by Trump-appointed FBI leadership.

Kash Patel, now FBI director, and Dan Bongino, now deputy director, were both prominent figures in MAGA circles who previously questioned the official account of Epstein’s death while serving as social media influencers and commentators. They have since publicly accepted that Epstein died by suicide. Nonetheless, the belief that Epstein was murdered to conceal compromising ties to powerful elites has become a near-axiomatic position in certain corners of the internet, particularly on the right.

According to the memo, no additional individuals in connection to the Epstein case will face charges. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking and related crimes.

Investigators closely examined security footage from Epstein’s cell area between approximately 10:40 p.m. on August 9, 2019 — when Epstein was locked in for the night — and around 6:30 a.m. the following morning, when he was discovered unresponsive.

The footage, reviewed by Axios though not independently verified, reportedly shows no one entering the secure area during that timeframe. The memo notes that “The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability.”

The investigation found no evidence of a “client list,” no credible indication that Epstein blackmailed influential figures, and no basis for launching investigations against uncharged individuals.
