On Sunday night, former President Donald Trump instructed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to intensify deportation operations in Democrat-led cities, following protests in Los Angeles criticizing his immigration policies.

Trump urged ICE “to do all in their power” to meet his administration’s objectives for large-scale deportations, pointing specifically to cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York for heightened enforcement actions.

White House adviser Stephen Miller previously said the administration aimed for a minimum of 3,000 ICE arrests per day.

“Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they carry out a crucial mission — the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History. These brave men and women face violence, harassment, and threats from Radical Democrat Politicians daily, but that will not deter us from our mission or our commitment to the American People,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“ICE Officers are hereby ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to use every means at their disposal to accomplish the historic goal of executing the largest Mass Deportation Program in History,” he added.

Trump called on federal agents to expand their efforts in detaining and deporting undocumented immigrants in the nation’s largest cities, claiming that “Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside” in these areas.

He accused these cities of forming the “core of the Democrat Power Center,” alleging that Democrats use undocumented immigrants to “expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State,” taking jobs and benefits away from American workers. “These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it!” he wrote.

Trump also claimed that Democrats support “open borders” and said enforcement should focus on blue cities.

“There is something wrong with them. That is why they believe in Open Borders, Transgender for Everybody, and Men playing in Women’s Sports — And that is why I want ICE, Border Patrol, and our Great and Patriotic Law Enforcement Officers, to FOCUS on our crime ridden and deadly Inner Cities, and those places where Sanctuary Cities play such a big role. You don’t hear about Sanctuary Cities in our Heartland!” he said.

He concluded by stating he had directed his administration to use every available resource to counter what he described as “Mass Destruction Migration” that has turned “once Idyllic Towns into scenes of Third World Dystopia.”
