Trump says that if all hostages in Gaza are not released by 12pm on Saturday, the ceasefire should be canceled and "let all hell break loose"

US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that if all hostages held in the Gaza Strip are not returned by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire agreement should be canceled.

“If all the Gaza hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 p.m., I would say cancel the ceasefire. Let all hell break loose; Israel can override it,” Trump said.

His comments came just hours after Hamas announced on its Telegram account that the planned release of hostages scheduled for February 15 would be delayed indefinitely due to an alleged Israeli violation.

Following this announcement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu consulted with top security officials, and the security cabinet was set to meet later on Tuesday morning. Hamas stated that the delay was intended as a “warning” to Israel and to the mediating countries, aiming to pressure Israel to fully comply with the ceasefire agreement.

Trump also addressed the issue of Palestinian relocation. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, he suggested that he might withhold aid from Jordan and Egypt if they refuse to take in Palestinian refugees relocated from Gaza. Trump is scheduled to meet with Jordan's King Abdullah II on Tuesday and had previously mentioned that Middle Eastern nations would be willing to accept Palestinians after his discussions with them.
