Biogen Settles Allegations for Pedaling Sclerosis Drugs with $900M Fine

The former employee turned whistleblower, Michael Bawduniak, revealed how Biogen paid kickbacks to doctors to push multiple sclerosis drugs prescription.

Biogen will pay $843 million to the federal government and $56 million as a settlement to 15 states. The Justice Department will reward $250 million of the federal proceeds to the whistleblower.
