Elon Musk has said Steve Bannon is in the Epstein files.

Elon Musk has renewed his criticism of the federal government, slamming the Department of Justice’s newly released findings on Jeffrey Epstein as “the final straw.”

In a series of posts and memes on X, Musk mocked the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein case and took aim at the DOJ/FBI memo issued Sunday night.

The two-page memo stated there was “no credible evidence” that Epstein maintained a “client list” used to blackmail high-profile individuals. It also reaffirmed that Epstein died by suicide in a New York City jail on August 10, 2019.

“No further disclosure is appropriate or warranted,” the memo said, adding that no additional investigations involving third parties will be pursued.

Musk, who recently announced plans to launch a new political party following a fallout with former President Donald Trump, sharply criticized the memo’s conclusions on social media.

Though he occasionally posted about Epstein in 2024, Musk’s commentary on the case escalated after his rift with Trump became public.

“This is the final straw,” Musk wrote in response to a post on X calling the administration’s promises to release Epstein-related files “a farce.”
