NYC Rent has Risen 19% in the Last 12 Months Compared to the 12.3% National Average

New York City rents have increased by 19% over the last 12 months compared to the 12.3% national average rent increase. Average Manhattan rent was $2,804 in February and increased to $3,998 in August based on Zillow rental index data.
