Tesla Full Self-Driving Beta Software is Now Available in All of North America

Per Reuters

Elon Musk announced that Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta software is available to everyone in North America. Musk says the feature is "available to anyone in North America who requests it from the car screen, assuming you have bought this option."

The Tesla CEO hopes to update FSD in 2023 to show regulators that the tech is safer than the average human driver.

The FSD software add-on costs $15,000 and enables the vehicles to change lanes and park autonomously. The software complements the standard "Autopilot" feature, which enables cars to steer, accelerate, and brake without driver intervention.
