Of note is that both Snowflake’s and Palantir’s dark pool volumes were synchronized with increased volume on August 20th.

On August 25th, Palantir’s price closed at $24.35 from its high on the 24th at $25.10; the morning of August 26th, Palantir affirmed that any information slippage was not due to any systems error, and later that day options order flow had shifted, as seen below:

As of before market open today, seen in the chart below, representing positions sized of at least $1,000 premium, Palantir’s option chains remain centered around the $25 strike price for both call and put options contracts; however, the bearish premium outweighs the bullish premium, approximately $4,386,944 premium compared to $2,799,189, respectively.

Furthemore, seen in the chart below, options contracts are primarily situated around the September 17th, 2021 expiration, again with bearish premium over the bullish of these dates.

Finally, in the market capitalization-weighted index NASDAQ Global Select Market Composite (NasdaqGS), we saw noteworthy dark pool trading in Salesorce.com, Inc.

Seen below is Saleforce.com’s historical price, in blue, since July 16th, 2021, and its requisite dark pool volumes seen in gray.  As can be seen, dark pool activity has continued to increase day over day, reaching a high of 1,042,734 as of August 26th.

Per the chart below, representing CRM’s daily price since June 24th, 2021,, in blue, there was a high of 245,748 call volume yesterday, August 26th, represented in green.  The aggregate call to put volume was 64.6% to 35.4% respectively.
