U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday denounced a series of violent attacks targeting Tesla property, stating that the Department of Justice has already charged multiple individuals in connection with the incidents.
“The wave of violent attacks on Tesla property amounts to nothing less than domestic terrorism,” Bondi said in a statement.
She emphasized that authorities will continue their investigations and ensure that those responsible—both those directly involved and those coordinating or financing the attacks—face significant consequences.
The recent acts of vandalism and protest, labeled "Tesla Takedown" demonstrations, have been organized by activists opposing Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The protests stem from Musk’s involvement in large-scale reductions to the federal workforce and the cancellation of contracts tied to humanitarian initiatives since President Donald Trump took office on January 20.
