Elon Musk Entertains the Idea of Placing Twitter Behind a Paywall

Elon Musk has discussed placing the whole social media under a paywall. This comes at a time that Twitter is trying to lure back employees that it let go.
Economists are saying that the Twitter Blue subscription could end up at a loss for the company. It was not confirmed how serious both Elon Musk and David Sacks, his advisor, were about placing Twitter behind a paywall.
Twitter employes tried to pitch the two an idea where busienss accounts would have to pay for extra features to reach larger audiences. This idea was dismissed in favor of wide-scale verification.
