McDonald's Indonesia enters the wedding game with a package that includes 100 chicken sandwiches for a little over $200

Per CNBC

McDonald's has come a long way from highlighting its kid's packages, and now, in Indonesia, the company will be offering packages for weddings as well. The new package would include 100 chicken sandwiches and would cost $230.

The package was called "Wedding Mekdi" and on top of the chicken sandwiches, it also included 100 four-piece orders of McNuggets. The package also includes a flower bouquet and gold wedding bands, as seen on its official Instagram post.

It was noted that with the deal, those getting married would only be spending about $2 per person. The report also adds that the post advertises how McDonald's would include on-site service for food stalls and that they are also open to larger weddings with increased order sizes.

Toward the end of 2022, McDonald's launched its first fully automated fast food restaurant. This meant that people could go in without needing to interact with a single individual.

The automated restaurant was located just outside Fort Worth.

In February, the company offered its McNuggets made with zero meat. These nuggets were reportedly made out of peas, wheat, and tempura batter.

The move follows the company's decision to offer McPlant burgers in 2021, which were also burgers made with zero meat and were developed with Beyond Meat.
