With gold priced around $85.75 per gram as of Thursday morning, the watch’s "approximately 200 grams of 18-carat gold used in the band, case, and buckle" carries a gold market value of about $17,150.
The high-end watch is also described as featuring 122 VS1 diamonds, although the exact size of the diamonds is not detailed.
The website emphasizes that the watches "are not political and have no affiliation with any political campaign," and they are "not designed, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, or any related entities."
Trump introduced the watches—which are available in two models, each with three color finish options—on Truth Social Thursday morning, suggesting they would make "a great Christmas gift."
The pricier Tourbillon model includes two casebacks, one featuring a "unique, personalized 'Thank You' message" from Trump. The less expensive Fighter model is available in gold-plated stainless steel for $799 or standard stainless steel for $499.
