SBF of FTX is reportedly offering trading and investment advice in prison and asking prison guards to invest in Solana.

In a recent court filing, Bankman-Fried's attorneys requested a sentence ranging from 63 to 78 months in prison for his involvement in the significant financial fraud at FTX, the cryptocurrency exchange he founded, and the related hedge fund Alameda Research.

The filing highlights Bankman-Fried's "neurodiversity," selflessness, and "kindness," while strongly disputing allegations that he caused billions of dollars in losses to his companies' customers through fraud.

His lawyers argued against the 100-year prison term recommended in a presentence investigation report, which described him as a "sociopath" and "ice-cold manipulator." They emphasized that these descriptions do not reflect the true character of Bankman-Fried.

The filing includes a letter from his mother, Barbara Fried, who stated that her son is filled with regret for the harm caused to his friends, family, partners, colleagues, and causes he deeply cared about. According to Fried, Bankman-Fried is consumed by thoughts of the damage caused by the collapse of FTX.

Bankman-Fried has been in jail since his bail was revoked in August, following his indictment on multiple fraud charges related to the collapse of FTX in late 2022.
