Donald Trump has said: “Israel is going to be attacked tonight by Iran"

Iran has announced its intention to attack Israel, according to Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz. This announcement comes amid urgent diplomatic efforts to prevent a direct military conflict between Iran and Israel.

The information was relayed to Israel via Hungary's Foreign Minister, Péter Szijjártó, who communicated that he had received this message from acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri.

"Iran has informed us of its plans to attack Israel," Katz stated, adding, "The international community should hold Iran accountable for any aggressive actions it undertakes."

Bagheri also conveyed Iran's resolve to retaliate for the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week during a conversation with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani.

While Israel has not claimed responsibility for the assassination, it is widely believed to have been involved.
