Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Irans top military officer, said Iran has no intention of continuing its aerial campaign against Israel

Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, has announced the successful completion of Iran's retaliatory operation against Israel, stating that all objectives have been achieved.

The operation was launched in response to an Israeli attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1, which resulted in the deaths of 7 high-ranking military officials. General Bagheri declared during a televised interview that Iran had achieved all its goals in the operation, but emphasized that any further provocations from Israel would be met with a strong response.

According to reports from Tasnim News Agency, the operation, named Operation Truthful Promise, has concluded with all its objectives fulfilled. General Bagheri condemned the actions of the Israeli regime, particularly the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, and highlighted the widespread condemnation of these actions.

He explained that the operation targeted a major intelligence center and an airbase involved in the attack on the Iranian consulate, both of which suffered significant damage. Using drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles with precision tactics, the operation successfully bypassed the regime's defenses.

Regarding U.S. involvement, General Bagheri warned that any collaboration with Israeli provocations would be met with a strong response. He noted U.S. attempts to neutralize the operation in Iraq and Jordan but emphasized their failure and the achievement of the operation's objectives.

While the operation has concluded, Bagheri warned that any further actions by Israel against Iranian soil or centers in Syria would result in an even more significant response. He stated that while the operation was primarily conducted by the IRGC, other branches of the Iranian armed forces are ready to act if needed. Bagheri also clarified that while Iran had the capability to conduct a larger operation, they aimed to deliver a proportional punishment.
