Lionel Messi has just officially finalized his deal with Inter Miami, and with it, the superstar shared how excited he was regarding the deal. Messi made this statement during 'The Unveil" event at the Miami home stadium.

Messi was present wearing pants and his signature No. 10 shirt as he addressed the crowd in Spanish. The superstar shared his excitement, and after his remarks, a video on the big screen played with messages from other superstars like NBA's Stephen Curry and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Messi: "I am very happy to have chosen to come to this city with my family, to have chosen this project and I have no doubt that we are going to enjoy it very much... We are going to have a good time and great things are going to happen. Thank you very much, thank you all for this day..."

This comes after Lionel Messi chose Inter Miami in the MLS after he was offered a contract of $54 million per season. The decision came as the superstar's contract with Paris Saint-Germain started to reach its expiration date.
