Ukraine has received a $1 billion aid package from the US.
The impending aid package, which encompasses $175 million allocated for weaponry, brings the total U.S. security support to more than $43.2 billion since the initiation of Russia's extensive invasion of its former Soviet neighbor. According to the Pentagon, the most recent security assistance package will encompass depleted uranium tank ammunition designed for use with the dependable Abrams tanks.

Additionally, the Biden administration has granted authorization for $2.9 billion in humanitarian aid and earmarked $20.5 billion for World Bank initiatives in Ukraine.
Just last week, the White House disclosed that Ukrainian forces have achieved significant advancements in the southern region of Zaporizhzhia.
"As for their future strategies and how they intend to capitalize on this progress, I will defer to their own discussions," stated John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesperson, during a conference call on September 1st.
