Biden doesn't have plans to address the four suspicious objects shot down over US airspace

Per NYP

Biden announced that he doesn't have plans to address four suspicious objects he had shot down over US airspace. So far, the US President gave a brief statement regarding the incident.

Biden: “As we made clear last week, if China threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country. And we did,”

The US President ordered a Chinese spy balloon to be shot down by an Air Force F-22 on Feb 4. After that, Biden ordered three other flying objects to be taken down by the military.

  • A flying object was ordered to be taken down in Alaska
  • A flying object was ordered to be taken down in Canada
  • A flying object was ordered to be taken down in Lake Huron

John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesman, told reporters about the White House's plans on the situation. It was also mentioned that the US President was also consulting state leaders.

Kirby: “He’s very much staying on top of the issue and directing his team to make sure we are properly consulting and briefing not just members of Congress, but state leaders as well.”

Sen. Marco Rubio also tweeted that this was the first time that NORAD actually shot down something over US airspace and that Americans would need to hear from the President directly.

Rubio: "In its 65 year history @NORADCommand never shot down an aircraft over U.S. airspace... Over the 10 days they have shot down 1 balloon & 3 “objects”... Americans need to hear directly about this from their President today"

In the last few days, the US military has shot down 4 objects over North America. Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin shared how the military is closely monitoring objects above Lake Huron.

The administration also gave an official statement that there was no evidence that unidentified objects were extraterrestrials.
