Former IRS agent said US Hunter Biden case was meddled with

Per NBC News

A former IRS agent, Gary Shapley, is coming forward with new revelations, telling how there was meddling in the Hunter Biden Case. Shapley reportedly spoke with the House Ways and Means Committee.

The statements by this employee included saying US Attorney David Weiss wanted authority to charge US President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, with broader charges compared to the tax-related misdemeanors. He also noted that Attorney General Merrick Garland didn't tell Congress the truth.

It was noted that the truth wasn't told regarding how what Weiss wanted to do was not something US attorneys would do, regarding bringing charges in other jurisdictions. Justice Department Office of Public Affairs deputy director Wyn Hornbuckle gave a statement regarding the situation.

Hornbuckle: “As both the Attorney General and U.S. Attorney David Weiss have said, U.S. Attorney Weiss has full authority over this matter, including responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges as he deems appropriate. He needs no further approval to do so,”

In December, Twitter files released a thread from Elon Musk and Matt Taibbi regarding Hunter Biden's laptop. The full thread came in many parts, detailing what was found on the leaked laptop and how the old Twitter blocked the story.
